ALOR SETAR: The stays of three members of the family, who drowned after the automotive they have been travelling in skidded and plunged into a river at Jambatan Syed Omar, Jalan Sungai Petani-Baling, have been buried right here.
The stays of Masyitoh Ibrahim, 37, and her sons, Muhammad Ziyad Zikri Sharudin, seven, and Muhammad Ziyad Haziq, 5, have been delivered to her late mom’s home in Kampung Paya Kerchut right here at 4.05pm Sunday (June 26).

Their stays have been then taken to the Masjid Az-Zaitun right here for funeral prayers with about 200 family members and pals in attendance, together with Masyitoh’s husband, Sharudin Aziz, 51, and their eldest son Muhammad Ziyad Hadis, 10.
Masyitoh, Muhammad Ziyad Zikri and Muhammad Ziyad Haziq have been buried in a common grave on the Masjid Az-Zaitun Muslim cemetery at 5.45pm.
Yesterday, Masyitoh, who was driving her automotive from Kuala Ketil heading in the direction of Sungai Petani, misplaced management of the wheel, inflicting the automotive to skid and veer to the left facet of the street earlier than plunging into Sungai Muda.
