Covid-19: 442,150 vaccine doses administered on Saturday (Aug 14)

PETALING JAYA: A total of 442,150 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered throughout Malaysia on Saturday (Aug 14), says the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).

In a series of posts on its official Twitter account, the JKJAV said 161,049 people received their first dose, while 281,101 people got their second jab.

Johor topped the list of first doses administered with 36,032, followed by Selangor (22,299), Sabah (20,788) and Terengganu (14,384).

Meanwhile, Selangor administered the most second doses with 80,784, followed by Kuala Lumpur (44,803), Johor (27,574) and Sabah (26,820).

The JKJAV also saidthat the cumulative number of Covid-19 doses administered in Malaysia now stands at 27,293,915.

44.5% or 10,425,300 adult individuals have received their first dose while 72.1% or 16,868,615 adult individuals have been fully inoculated.
