Covid-19: 618,000 vaccine doses allocated for Selangor, says MB

PETALING JAYA: A total of 618,000 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been allocated for the people in Selangor for the period of one week, says Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

The Selangor Mentri Besar shared on his Facebook page on Friday (July 16) that the vaccines provided by the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) had a utilisation rate of 78%.

Amiruddin noted that 12.02% of the Selangor population has been fully vaccinated, with a total of 2.3 million doses administered through the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).

Selangor’s daily vaccination rate as of Wednesday (July 14) was at 114,416 doses.

As of Thursday (July 15), a total of 57,339 doses of Covid-19 vaccination had also been administered under the Selangor Vaccine Programme (Selvax).
