Covid-19: 91.4% percent of Malaysia’s adults fully vaccinated as of Friday (Oct 15)

PETALING JAYA: A total of 174,732 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered nationwide as of Friday (Oct 15).

In a series of tweets on Saturday (Oct 16), the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) said that 22,036,881 individuals or 91.4% of the country’s adult population have been fully inoculated while 24,699,864 adults (95.1%) have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.

It also added that out of the total doses administered on Friday, 35,198 people received their first dose of a two-dose vaccine and 129,359 have received their second dose.

Selangor leads as the state with the most first doses administered at 16,438 followed by Sabah (4,857), Johor (3,608) and Kuala Lumpur (2,753).

However, Sabah topped the list of the most second doses administered with 23,293 followed by Selangor (20,929), Sabah (13,325) and Johor (13,323).
