JOHOR BARU: Johor government’s Covid-19 vaccination programme initiative for Malaysians working in Singapore, the Johor Immunity Planning System (IMMUPlan), will begin operations on Thursday (July 29).

In a statement on the IMMUPlan Facebook page, vaccinations of all eligible participants would be scheduled daily in the order of date of registration on the system.

“Early registration will be scheduled first and vaccination would be done at a major vaccination centre (PPV) within Johor.

“The IMMUPlan programme scheduling will be done individually through the MySejahtera app where participants can also check the location, time, and date,” the statement reads.

The statement also said that people who registered for the programme should check MySejahtera for their respective schedule.

It added that a confirmation and reminder email would also be sent once your vaccination date and time had been confirmed.

“Vaccinations will be done daily until all eligible economic frontliners have been vaccinated,” it said.

Earlier this month, Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad said that the state would be getting additional vaccine supply this month.

“I have spoken to the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry, and they will be giving us an additional 300,000 doses, bringing the total number Johor is receiving to 1.24 million doses,” he said.

“With the additional vaccines, we can give up to 50,000 shots per day.”

So far, some 110,000 names have been registered and screened as the state government cross-checks with MySejahtera to ensure no overlaps.

“This will help Johor reach its target of having 80% of its population getting vaccinated by October.”
