PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 26,569 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday (Feb 17), bringing the cumulative total to 3,117,485.
According to the Health Ministry’s CovidNow portal, this introduced the variety of energetic cases to 217,782, with 204,876 (94.1%) in house quarantine, 5,571 (2.6%) in quarantine centres and seven,335 (3.36%) in hospitals.
Of these in hospitals, 216 are within the ICU with 141 needing ventilator help.
A total of 39 deaths was additionally recorded on Thursday with 17 of them categorized as Brought in Dead (BID).
This brings the demise toll to 32,239.
