Delirious woman rescued midway of Mt Kinabalu climb

KOTA KINABALU: A mountain search and rescue workforce was referred to as to offer help to a woman who gave the impression to be in a state of delirium midway up Mount Kinabalu on Thursday (Feb 10) night.

The 50-year-old was taking shelter with different climbers at KM4 of the mountain path, close to Layang-Layang hut when she began appearing abnormally.

State Fire and Rescue Department deputy operations chief Misran Bisara stated rescuers had been knowledgeable of the matter at about 7pm.

He stated a mountain search and rescue workforce (Mosar) was despatched to assist deliver the woman down.

She was positioned on a stretcher and introduced right down to Timpohon gate, the place she was handed over to her household for additional motion, he added.
