KYIV (Reuters) – The heads of Ukraine’s nationwide anti-doping organisation (NADC) resigned on Wednesday after being accused of violating worldwide requirements, the Ukrainian sports activities minister mentioned.
The World Anti-Doping Company (WADA) this week mentioned it had proof that the Ukrainian company had violated doping pattern assortment guidelines by successfully warning athletes upfront of future checks.
“NADC has violated the worldwide testing customary. As we speak, the director of NADC Ivan Kurlishchuk and his deputy Yaroslav Kruchek resigned,” Vadym Huttsait mentioned in an announcement.
“The ministry states that we take a transparent place within the struggle towards doping and won’t enable anybody to violate anti-doping guidelines,” he added.
The NADC was not instantly obtainable for remark.
