KUCHING: A fruitful dialogue passed off between Transport Minister Datuk Dr Seri Wee Ka Siong and his Sarawak counterpart Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin in the course of the former’s working go to to the state on Friday (Dec 4).
The entourage comprised the Federal-level Transport Ministry, the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB).
Dr Wee mentioned Lee raised many pertinent points involving rural air providers, growth of airports, quick take-off and touchdown ports, Road Transport Department, Sarawak Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board, the Interim Stage Bus Support Fund programme, the Stage Bus Service Transformation (SBST) programme in addition to highway questions of safety.
