Dr Wee: Transport Ministry to conduct regular engagements with ehailing services

PETALING JAYA: The Transport Ministry will conduct regular engagements with ehailing services to guarantee a great partnership between the non-public sector and the federal government, says Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong.

Dr Wee mentioned he met up with Grab group chief govt officer and co-founder Anthony Tan and his workforce in Malaysia on Wednesday (Jan 26).

However, he expressed his disappointment that the assembly might solely be finished remotely due to Covid-19.

“We exchanged some concepts on how to complement one another to preserve security and safety for passengers, drivers, riders and all customers of Grab’s services. I’m happy to know that Grab is constantly innovating of their labs to stability the pace of their services with the highest precedence of holding its stakeholders protected.
