PETALING JAYA: Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has conveyed his properly wishes for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (pic) following the previous prime minister’s admission to the National Heart Institute (IJN) on Friday (Jan 7).
“Let us come collectively and pray that Tun Dr Mahathir be granted a speedy recovery and should his remedy progress easily,” mentioned Wee in a Facebook put up.
On Friday, the IJN mentioned in a transient assertion that the Langkawi MP was admitted yesterday for an elective medical process.
“Due to current standard operating procedures, no visitors are allowed,” the assertion added.
It didn’t disclose the medical process or when it could be carried out.
Dr Mahathir was Malaysia’s prime minister twice – for 22 years from 1981 to 2003 and for 22 months from 2018 to 2020.
