EU extends human rights sanctions, together with on Chinese language officers

BRUSSELS (Reuters) – European Union ambassadors authorized on Wednesday the primary renewal of the bloc’s new world human rights sanctions, together with these on 4 Chinese language officers and one Chinese language entity, two diplomats stated.

Others on the record, which was created in December 2020 to fight severe rights abuses all over the world, embrace Russian, Libyan, South Sudanese and North Korean people.

The renewal of the asset freezes and journey bans shall be formally authorized by EU ministers in Brussels on Dec. 6-7, the diplomats stated.
