LUGANO, Switzerland (Reuters) – The European Union will set up a reconstruction platform to coordinate the rebuilding of Ukraine after its struggle with Russia, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission stated on Monday.
The platform will likely be used to map funding wants, coordinate motion and channel assets, von der Leyen informed the
Ukraine Recovery Conference within the Swiss metropolis of Lugano.
“Since the start of the struggle, the European Union has mobilized round 6.2 billion euros in monetary help,” von der Leyen stated.
“And… extra will come. We will interact considerably within the mid- and long-term reconstruction.”
