Fire breaks out at a Greek plastics factory

ATHENS (Reuters) – A fireplace broke out at a plastics factory in a suburb of the Greek capital Athens on Monday, the hearth brigade stated, however there have been no quick studies of any injured folks.

Greek media footage confirmed towers of thick smoke pouring out of the plant in Aspropyrgos city, west of Athens.

Civil safety authorities issued an emergency attraction for residents to remain indoors as inhaling smoke may very well be harmful.

It was not instantly clear what triggered the hearth, a fireplace brigade official stated.

Some 50 firemen with 20 fireplace engines have been battling the blaze, the hearth brigade stated.
