(Reuters) – Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has joined Barcelona on a free switch after terminating his contract with Premier League staff Arsenal, the LaLiga membership stated on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old striker left Arsenal by mutual consent on Tuesday. He had not performed for the north London membership since December after supervisor Mikel Arteta stripped him of the captaincy because of a disciplinary breach.
