Malaysia’s Funds 2022 (Bajet 2022) will probably be tabled by finance minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz in parliament at 4pm in the present day. As with earlier editions, we will probably be monitoring the finance minister’s speech for any automotive- and transport-related issues.
It was beforehand stated that initiatives to strengthen the native electrical automobile (EV) trade and inexperienced expertise ecosystems are to be introduced in Funds 2022, consistent with the low carbon mobility objectives and green mobility agenda outlined within the recently-revealed 12th Malaysian Plan (RMK-12). Will there be incentives and carrots for EV makers and us customers?
