Great turnout at Raya open house embodies the Malaysian Family spirit, says PM

PUTRAJAYA: The extraordinary attendance at the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House hosted by the Prime Minister and Cabinet ministers on Sunday (May 8) is the embodiment of the Malaysian Family spirit, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He expressed his appreciation to all those that helped make the first open house that he and his Cabinet had hosted since he was appointed Prime Minister on Aug 20 final yr a convincing success.

“I want to thank all the folks on responsibility, together with meals suppliers, ushers, in addition to media personnel who helped unfold the phrase about the open house,” he instructed reporters after the open house in Seri Perdana ended.

More than 100,000 guests had been recorded to the open house, with the preliminary estimate being simply over 70,000.

“For me, what was proven at the moment with the presence of such an enormous multiracial crowd was that Malaysia is basically like one large household, the ‘Keluarga Malaysia’ (Malaysian Family) that I’ve dreamed of,” stated Ismail Sabri.
