GEORGE TOWN: A feminine hiker went missing whereas climbing at a hill close to the Surin Condominium in Tanjung Bungah on Saturday (Jan 8) night.
She is believed to have began her hike from the Botanical Gardens at 4.30pm however misplaced her approach across the hills close to Surin Condominium round 6pm.
The Fire and Rescue Department together with the voluntary firemen squads of Mount Erskine, Penang Hill and Paya Terubong has since carried out searches twice to search for the hiker and the search remains to be ongoing.
