Recently, a 42-second video exhibiting a selfless act of kindness by a poor man in feeding hungry stray cats went viral, and touched the hearts of many Malaysians.
Netizens praised the person for sharing what little meals he had with the furry felines.
In the video the person, carrying torn and ragged black garments, was seen sitting subsequent to a drain exterior of a home. The man recording the video (who appeared to be a dispatch rider) greeted him with: “Hello, Abang” and asking him what the was doing.
The different man replied that he was giving meals to the cats.
The involved dispatch rider then requested if he had eaten something himself. The man then confirmed a pink plastic bag containing a meals packet and stated that he had no urge for food (“tak kuat makan”) and that he solely wanted to eat a little bit.
He then went on to describe the cats as his ‘adopted children’.
One netizen praised the person for caring for the cats and sharing his meals regardless of being poor, whereas one other stated that he “respects the homeless more than the rich” and that we will study love and appreciation from the video.
