Hong Kong actor Owen Cheung needed to bear seven stitches on the forehead after he had an accident whereas filming a present early on Sunday.
Cheung, 35, is capturing the collection with actor Joel Chan, who was topped Best Actor on the TVB Awards Presentation ceremony on Jan 8. The TVB serial’s Chinese-language title may be translated as Death Hints.
Cheung was hit close to his left forehead by a prop lamp on set at about 1am, leading to him bleeding profusely. He was attended to by the TVB medical workforce, who stopped the bleeding and took him to a hospital.
TVB govt Virginia Lok informed the media on Sunday that Cheung was aware and had seven stitches achieved within the hospital.
She mentioned the stitches may be eliminated on the eve of Chinese New Year on Saturday, and the earliest he can return to work will likely be after Chinese New Year.
Cheung, who was resting at house, informed the Hong Kong media on Sunday that he felt advantageous after the minor surgical procedure. He recalled he was doing an motion scene when he was hit on the pinnacle by a ground lamp which was wrapped in a protecting cowl.
The actor mentioned he was not apprehensive about being disfigured, joking that he might look extra manly with a scar.
Cheung is the newest actor to be injured whereas filming in current weeks.
