Idris: Report inappropriate, deviant Islamic medical practices found online

TAIPING: Minister within the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Idris Ahmad has known as on members of the general public to report any Islamic medical practices found online which might be inappropriate and regarded deviant.

He stated such stories have been essential to allow investigations and motion to be taken towards the perpetrators.

“We hope that if there are any medical practices that violate non secular beliefs (with practices) resembling (casting) spells, don’t await the non secular workplace and report it on to the state Islamic Religious Department, police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

“We don’t want the matter to unfold to the purpose of inflicting hassle,” he stated throughout a press convention on the ‘Bantu Rakyat’ cell gross sales programme for the Bukit Gantang parliamentary constituency in Kampung Kurnia Jaya, Kamunting right here on Sunday (June 19).

Earlier, Darussyifa Malaysia Research and Development Committee chief Datuk Abdul Rashid Mat Amin stated the emergence of people who’ve allegedly dedicated fraud by imposing excessive costs and performing immoral acts resembling molestation had tarnished the picture of Islamic healthcare.
