KUALA LUMPUR: IHH Healthcare Bhd, Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd and Sime Darby Plantation Bhd dragged the FBM KLCI into the red at noon on Thursday.

At lunch break, the benchmark index eased 9.27 factors, or 0.61% to 1,514.59 amid a weak broader market.

Decliners beat advancers with 518 losers to 271 gainers whereas 354 counters have been unchanged. Turnover was 1.8 billion shares valued at RM953.78mil.

Petronas Dagangan added 42 sen to RM21.52, Heineken gained 26 sen to RM24.84 and Petron Malaysia rose 20 sen to RM7.36.
