On mountain slopes within the Swiss village of Villars-sur-Ollon, an artist has used chalk and charcoal to color two large frescos of kids sketching how they see the huge world round them.
The frescos, that are painted immediately on the grass and may final days relying on climate situations, present a younger boy and woman tracing squiggly traces on sketchpads to depict mountains, bushes, stars and the moon.
Swiss-French artist SAYPE stated his frescos – which at round 3,000sq m may be seen from the mountaintop and close by pastures – symbolise the necessity to reject uniformity and embrace completely different views.
“The youngsters are on completely different altitudes, so they’re drawing various things,” SAYPE stated.
“Even if they’re at completely different altitudes, the 2 worlds they’re drawing complement one another.”
