NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India stated on Friday it accidentally fired a missile into Pakistan due to a “technical malfunction” throughout routine upkeep.
“On 9 March 2022, in the midst of a routine upkeep, a technical malfunction led to the unintentional firing of a missile,” the federal government stated in an announcement.
“It is learnt that the missile landed in an space of Pakistan. While the incident is deeply regrettable, it can also be a matter of reduction that there was no lack of life because of the accident.”
