Isle of Man TT race organisers have confirmed that they named the incorrect French sidecar competitor to have died in an incident on Saturday.

In an announcement, they mentioned rider Cesar Chanal had now been confirmed as having died within the crash throughout lap one of the primary sidecar race of 2022 on the Mountain Course.

On Saturday, they wrongly mentioned passenger Olivier Lavorel had died.

He stays in a vital situation in Aintree Hospital in Liverpool.

Welsh rider Mark Purslow died in a crash in follow final week whereas Northern Ireland rider Davy Morgan suffered fatal injuries in an accident on Monday.
