PETALING JAYA: Fomer prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed, who was just lately hospitalised at the National Heart Institute (IJN) stated there have been instances when he thought he wouldn’t get well from his illness.

In a video posted through his Facebook web page Wednesday (Feb 9), Dr Mahathir thanked everybody who prayed for his restoration from a critical illness.

“I’m grateful for the many individuals who prayed for me.

“After all these prayers I recovered from an illness, in my view it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

“But I’m grateful for the remedy acquired at IJN. At the second, I can eat, stroll, sleep and discuss, nearly like regular,” he stated in the video.

He added that though he is not sturdy sufficient to work, he was properly on his approach to restoration.

In the video, Dr Mahathir will be seen with spouse Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Ali sitting by a lake in Putrajaya.

Dr Mahathir was admitted at IJN final month after present process an elective process on Jan 7.

Previously, he was admitted to IJN in December for a collection of checks. He was allowed to return dwelling on Feb 4 and was requested to return for follow-up remedy at IJN.
