Johor polls: Early voting begins at 63 polling centres in the state

JOHOR BARU: A complete of 63 polling centres opened their doorways for the early voting course of in the Johor state election at 8 am Tuesday (March 8).

More than 22,000 members of the safety forces, comprising the Malaysian Armed Forces, the Royal Malaysia Police and the General Operations Force, in addition to their spouses, are eligible to solid their votes on Tuesday.

Facilities at the Johor contingent police headquarters in Jalan Tebrau right here, in addition to 10 district police headquarters statewide and a few authorities workplaces, have been become polling centres.

Military personnel will solid their votes at the Mahkota Camp, Kluang; Tebrau Camp, Ulu Tiram; the tenth Royal Malay Regiment (RAMD) Camp, Batu Pahat; and the 4th Royal Artillery Regiment (4RAD) Camp, Segamat.

GOF personnel and their spouses, in the meantime, shall be casting their ballots at the fifth Battalion, GOF Camp in Simpang Renggam, Kluang and the sixth Battalion in Bakri, Muar.

A complete of 239 candidates are vying for 56 seats in the Johor polls.
