YONG PENG: DAP is ”past saving” for verbally attacking an previous man who stood up for his son, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The MCA president stated that Perak DAP chief Nga Kor Ming’s derogatory remarks about Yong Peng Barisan Nasional candidate Ling Tian Soon’s father is completely uncalled for and disrespectful.

”Ling’s father was solely standing up for his son. He (Nga) resorted to working the senior citizen down in a nasty gentle.

”Five thousand years of Chinese tradition and is that this all about hate?

”Does he want to assault an previous man like this on this state election?” he stated in his speech on the MCA mega ceramah right here Friday (March 11).

In a DAP ceramah simply 200m away, Nga, who can be Teluk Intan MP, stated that he was keen to meet Ling’s father face-to-face, and inform him that it’s fallacious to help Barisan Nasional.

“I will tell Ling’s father that your son supported the wrong party and it’s wrong to support a party led by crooks,” he stated, in an obvious reference to Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Nga also said it doesn’t matter if Ling loses Yong Peng on polling day, as he still has his job as a political secretary to the Transport Minister.

In a statement on March 9, Nga called for support for DAP’s candidate Alan Tee Boon Tsong, saying it would be ”Buy 1 Free 1” for the people.

He said this is because Ling would still have the resources to serve the people in Yong Peng.

Feeling upset over Nga’s comment, Ling’s 74-year-old father King Hoa, refuted in a video that his son was not a ”complimentary item”.

”Your son is valuable to you. Then what about others’ sons?

”My son is certainly not some ‘low-cost or free’ merchandise,” stated the senior within the video which was aired throughout Ling’s ceramah on Thursday (March 10).

Dr Wee famous MCA is a civilised and sensible social gathering that won’t resort to mudslinging to win votes.

”I really feel offended seeing how he responded to Ling’s father.

”But I’m additionally completely happy as a result of this clearly reveals that they’ve completely run out of tips,” he stated.

With polling being hours away, Barisan and Pakatan Harapan have ramped up their campaigns by holding mega-ceramah in Yong Peng that includes high weapons, in hopes to sway fence sitters on the eleventh-hour.
