Johor polls: Six-cornered fight shaping up in Larkin so far

PETALING JAYA: The fight for the Larkin state seat in the Johor election is shaping up to be a six-cornered one, with Independent candidate Norramadan Buan additionally anticipated to file his nomination papers Saturday (Feb 26).

He will likely be going up in opposition to candidates from Barisan Nasional, Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda), Perikatan Nasional, PKR and Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang).

Barisan candidate Hairi Mad Shah and Muda’s Rasid Abu Bakar had arrived on the Larkin nomination centre at Dewan JKR (D) in Johor Baru earlier.

Dr Zamil Najwah from PKR and Perikatan’s Zulkifli Bujang are additionally current on the nomination centre.

Pejuang’s candidate for the seat is Mohamad Riadz Mohamad Hashim, who arrived on the nomination centre at about 9.15am.
