KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s Leading Index (LI) efficiency remained positive in November 2021, rising to 111.3 factors from 109.4 factors in November 2020 because the financial system regularly recovered from the COVID-19 disruptions, mentioned the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DoSM).

Chief statistician Datuk Sri Mohd Uzir Mahidin mentioned this was primarily contributed by the expansion in the Number of Housing Units Approved.
