BEIRUT (Reuters) – Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces (ISF) foiled plans by a “terrorist community” to hold out three suicide attacks within the nation, Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi advised a information convention on Wednesday.

Mawlawi mentioned the community was affiliated with the Islamic State group and that the plans for attacks, close to the capital Beirut, concerned gunfire and hearth from rocket-propelled grenades along with suicide vests.
