Litterbugs leave their mark on country’s tallest elevated road

GEORGE TOWN: Litterbugs strike once more and this time, on the tallest elevated road within the nation.

The panorama supplied by the Bukit Kukus paired road is so breathtaking that many motorists can’t resist stopping for footage.

They even cease to have a snack whereas soaking within the view of the valley and the ocean past, and a few of them are clearly litterbugs.

This not too long ago opened road is now peppered with meals wrappings, spent quick meals containers and plastic baggage of half-eaten meals, all dropped alongside the roadside and even left on the stone railings.

Fortunately, social media customers have been taking footage and movies of litterbug proof to focus on the dangerous behavior.

Two involved residents even made a TikTok video of themselves selecting up the garbage and berating individuals’s lack of civic-mindedness.

Another TikTok video of the brand new road exhibits that police patrolmen don’t permit motorists to cease alongside this road for leisure functions and can shoo them alongside.

This 3.8km road that snakes alongside the Paya Terubong valley is elevated as much as 61.5m above the bottom on some stretches.
