Local actor Danny X-Factor, says he is not ashamed of being an e-hailing driver and has clapped back at those that shamed him for it.
In a latest interview with Harian Metro, Danny – whose actual title is Mohd Kardanie Anwa – reveals that he has been requested many occasions why he traded his performing job for e-hailing.
“They requested questions like, ‘Aren’t you performing anymore?’ or ‘Do you not get provides anymore?’. Those questions irk me as a result of what’s mistaken with being a Grab driver?
“It’s not like I’m earning profits by means of illegal means. And to those that hold hurling insults (about being a Grab driver), are you the one giving me cash to pay my month-to-month payments?” the 42-year-old laments.
Danny has been working as a Grab driver since 2017 and reportedly makes RM400 to RM500 per day.
According to him, this career has been a life-saver particularly through the motion management order interval the place many misplaced their livelihood, together with his flight attendant spouse, Zaidatul Norfazlin Zakaria.
“My spouse was unable to journey for work, so there wasn’t any revenue. That’s when working as an e-hailing driver helped me. The revenue is sort of first rate too,” the actor explains.

“I’m comfy with working behind the scenes and seeing new stars step ahead. Maybe it is as a result of I have not appeared on tv for fairly a while.

Danny made his performing debut in 1999 with the movie, Drop Dead Rock, and achieved success together with his starring function within the 2008 flick, Budak Kelantan.
