Man arrested over spate of vehicle thefts

KUALA LUMPUR: A 46-year-old man has been detained for a spate of vehicle thefts within the metropolis.

Police additionally seized eight autos, together with 4 Proton Iswara, two Proton Saga and a van believed to have been stolen by the suspect.

Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Idzam Jaafar mentioned police detained the suspect at Flat Sri Sabah at about 3pm on June 5.

“We seized eight autos stolen by the suspect.

“We imagine he was energetic in stealing autos in Cheras, Pudu, Sri Petaling and Teluk Intan, Perak,” he instructed a press convention on the Cheras police headquarters on Tuesday (June 7).
