Man electrocuted after handling live wires in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: A person was discovered electrocuted close to his Kampung Numbak home close to right here on Tuesday (April 12) morning.

The 37-year-old native was discovered unconscious at round 7am close to his home at Jalan Yayasan Tebagu, and it’s believed that the person was killed whereas handling live wires.

Lintas Fire and Rescue Station chief Agustavia Joe Guasi stated they acquired a name in regards to the incident at round 7.03am and had dispatched a staff to analyze.

“When our personnel arrived, there were already policemen and other authorities at the scene, including medical officials and Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) personnel,” she stated when contacted.

She stated their obligation was to conduct a security test on the space to make it possible for there are not any extra harmful components left, and the operation ended at 9.02am.

According to officers on the scene, there have been components of energy theft based mostly on the wire connections and the way the sufferer was discovered.

However, it’s unclear whether or not the sufferer was concerned in energy theft.
