(Reuters) – Facebook-owner Meta is no longer requiring staff to have COVID-19 boosters to enter its offices in the United States, an organization spokesperson stated on Friday.

The social media firm beforehand stated that every one staff returning to the workplace must current proof of their booster jabs, whereas the corporate monitored the Omicron variant scenario.

“We up to date our necessities in early March to align with CDC steerage, and now COVID-19 boosters are no longer required for entry, although strongly really useful. The main vaccination requirement (1- or 2-shot sequence) stays in place,” stated Meta spokesperson Tracy Clayton.
