MetMalaysia: Thunderstorms expected for next few days due to monsoon transition phase

PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms with heavy rain and powerful winds have been forecast to hit states on the west coast and inside of the Peninsula, western Sabah and western and central Sarawak over the next few days.

In an announcement Friday (March 11), the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) mentioned the storms would normally happen within the afternoon and early night.
