Muhyiddin: NRC to continue role as advisory body to govt

PAGOH: The National Recovery Council (NRC) will continue to serve as an advisory body to the federal government, particularly on points involving the well-being and luxury of the individuals, says its chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

He stated the council would at all times give its views and ideas, but it surely was up to the federal government to settle for them or not.

The former prime minister stated the NRC had lately held discussions with economists and different leaders on points surrounding inflation and rising international meals costs, as properly as meals safety.

On May 26, Zuraida introduced that she was leaving Bersatu to be a part of Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) and expressed her readiness to resign as a Cabinet minister if instructed to accomplish that by the Prime Minister. – Bernama
