PETALING JAYA: Umno leaders have taken Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yaasin to process for speaking about Cabinet and the deputy prime minister posts whereas the rakyat are struggling with the excessive price of dwelling.
Former Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak stated that it was inappropriate for Muhyiddin to be discussing the matter.
“This will not be the time to ask for the posts of deputy prime minister and ministers or extra committees to be fashioned.
“Why ask for authorities positions when the main target must be on financial restoration and managing inflation,” stated the Pekan MP in a Facebook publish on Sunday (July 3).
“With the overall election across the nook … are positions and committees a precedence for Malaysians?” he questioned.
Umno youth chief Datuk Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki questioned the Perikatan Nasional chairman’s timing.
He stated such a request shouldn’t have been made, particularly when the rakyat have been struggling with the excessive price of dwelling.
On Saturday (July 2) Muhyiddin stated he had met with Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob to debate a number of essential issues, together with the deputy prime minister’s publish.
