SEOUL (Reuters) – North Korea examined a railway-borne missile in its firing drills on Friday, state media KCNA stated on Saturday, marking its third weapons test this month.
South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff stated it had detected what it presumed have been two short-range ballistic missiles launched eastward from North Pyongan Province on the northwest coast of North Korea.
The official KCNA information company stated a firing drill was held to “verify and decide the proficiency in the motion procedures of the railway-borne regiment,” which the nation examined for the primary time final September, designed as a possible counter-strike to any threatening forces.
