PETALING JAYA: PAS is against an early basic election as it knows it will do badly in it, claims Datuk Puad Zarkashi.

The Umno supreme council member stated that he was not shocked why PAS was against snap polls.

“There is nothing uncommon with Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor accusing former Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak of fearing jail time both.

“The idea is PAS just doesn’t want Umno to triumph. They are just buying time to find ways to slander the nationalist party even further, similar to the last general election,” he stated in a Facebook put up on Monday (June 13).

On Saturday (June 11) Sanusi was reported to have stated Malaysia can be destroyed if the individuals selected one or two leaders who have been energy loopy and needed to save lots of themselves and take over the nation’s administration.

This led Umno data chief Shahril Hamdan to hit out at Sanusi, asking him to remain out of Umno affairs.

Puad added that Umno was absolutely conscious of the Islamist celebration’s “fork tongue” behaviour, and PAS was working out of concepts on how you can undermine Umno, given the celebration can be a part of the federal government.

“They can no longer blame Umno on rising cost of living and inflation, as PAS is part of the administration too.

“So, instead of telling us to advise our president on snap polls, I suggest PAS tells its president to do some work to earn his salary,” famous Puad.

As for snap polls, he stated it can be unwise for Umno to need to delay it, on condition that the celebration was in a powerful place now.

“Every celebration needs to win and Umno needs to win huge to supply a secure administration, not like now the place the federal government is weak and may be pressured,” he stated.
