PETALING JAYA: The DAP state leadership has directed Pasir Pedamar state assemblyman Terence Naidu to submit a written report of the incident, following his arrest at a nightclub.
Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming confirmed that Terence was arrested and detained by the police on Thursday (Jan 13) night time at a pub in Bandar Perai Jaya, Penang, after contacting Terence this night.
“He has been requested to submit a written report on the incident in order that the state leadership and the DAP National leadership might be knowledgeable of the factual state of affairs accordingly.
“I would love to guarantee the general public that DAP takes significantly the conduct, character and integrity of its elected representatives and that they need to be exemplary of their methods as individuals who have been entrusted by the folks to lead them,” he stated in a press release on Friday (Jan 14).
Terence, a two-term assemblyman, was arrested for drug use after a police operation at a nightclub in Prai on Thursday.
He has since been launched on police bail after his remand order expired.
State Narcotics Crime Investigations Department chief Asst Comm Mustafa Kamal Gani Abdullah had stated 36 folks examined optimistic for medicine.
Of the quantity, he stated 28 of them had been males, together with the state assemblyman, whereas the remainder had been ladies.
