KUALA LUMPUR: PJBumi Bhd
has acquired a discover in writing from Messrs Afrizan Tarmili Khairul Azhar PLT on their resignation as external auditors of the corporate.
In a submitting with Bursa Malaysia, the engineering and development providers supplier stated the auditors have been re-appointed on the final annual normal assembly (AGM) of the corporate held on Dec 17, 2021 to carry workplace till the conclusion of the following AGM of the corporate.
“The auditors had tendered their resignation because the Audit Oversight Board (AOB) had notified the auditors that they are prohibited to perform audit of public interest entities for 12 months commencing from Dec 10, 2021,” PJBumi stated.
PJBumi is within the midst of figuring out the brand new auditors to be appointed pursuant to Section 271(2)(b) of the Companies Act 2016.
