KUALA LUMPUR: Two native males had been detained in reference to an internet job emptiness rip-off following a raid at a condominium in Cheras.
Kuala Lumpur Business Crime Investigation Division (CCID) chief Asst Comm Mohd Mahidisham Ishak mentioned the 2 males aged 23 and 32 had been detained within the raid, which was performed on Monday (Oct 25).
“Each males had been operators who focused victims on social media,” he mentioned when contacted on Tuesday (Oct 26).
A number of objects had been seized together with a laptop computer, six cellphones and two ATM playing cards, he added.
“We consider the syndicate has been working since Might. They had been concentrating on locals,” he mentioned.
Each males have been remanded till Thursday (Oct 28), ACP Mohd Mahidisham mentioned.
