Rebuild burnt down health clinic, Sabah minister tells Health Ministry

KOTA KINABALU: A Sabah minister has referred to as on the Health Ministry to take fast steps to rebuild a rural health clinic that was destroyed in a fireplace.

Sabah Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk Shahelmey Yahya stated this was to make sure the healthcare wants of residents within the inside Sook sub-district and surrounding areas had been taken care of following the hearth on the Mansiat health clinic.

“I was made to understand that residents are now depending on a mobile clinic as well as a community hall as an alternative facility to obtain health services now.

“As such, I urge the Health Ministry to give the necessary attention over this matter and act immediately to rebuild the Mansiat health clinic,” he stated when met throughout an occasion within the inside Keningau district on Thursday (June 16).
