Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was assembly constituents in Northallerton when one remarked they thought he can be “in mattress with pneumonia” after he was drenched by rain as he referred to as the basic election on Wednesday.
Mr Sunak mentioned it was custom to make such bulletins “come rain or shine” and joked about the state of his go well with.
