Sandra Bullock has discovered her calling.
The Lost City star, 57, confirmed to Entertainment Tonight this week that she is taking a hiatus from the acting world following the launch of the romantic action-comedy.
“This is the last one, people,” the Oscar winner joked alongside co-star Daniel Radcliffe at SXSW, confirming after, “Don’t know how long that’ll be. I need to be in the place that makes me happiest.”
“I take my job very seriously when I’m at work. And it’s… 24/7. And I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family,” she stated, of youngsters Louis, 12, and Laila, 10.
“And we don’t know how long or how short, but that’s where I’m gonna be for awhile.”
During her time away from the glitz and glam of Hollywood, Bullock joked that she’s excited to be “servicing (her kids’) every need, their social calendar.
“There’s extra steps you have to take, ‘cause we’re still in a pandemic,” she continued. “All the parents know me as the crazy lady with the pandemic, so they know their children will return without Covid when they’ve come to our house.” – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
