(Reuters) – 5 males have been charged following dysfunction throughout Leicester Metropolis’s 3-1 win over Legia Warsaw in Thursday’s Europa League match, Leicestershire Police stated.

The incident befell within the second half of the match on the King Energy Stadium after Legia followers clashed with the police.

The police stated that through the incident, 14 officers had been assaulted and injured with two requiring hospital therapy.
