BBC Weather forecaster Gemma Plumb stated: “There have been a variety of locations in north and east England, and in Scotland, that noticed at the very least a month’s price of rain in a number of days as a results of Storm Babet, with one or two locations seeing nearer to twice the common month-to-month rainfall – one in all which was Wattisham in Suffolk.”
