(Reuters) – Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad has referred to as his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and supported his place concerning Ukraine, the Syrian presidency stated in an announcement on Friday.
“During the decision, they talked concerning the scenario in Ukraine and the particular navy operation by the Russian Federation to guard the civilian inhabitants within the Donbass area,” the assertion stated.
“His Excellency (Assad) harassed that Syria stands with the Russian Federation, based mostly on its conviction of the correctness of its place,” it added.
